La Laguna Gran Hotel

The deluxe rooms in the annexe, the bar area, the staff, the rooftop pool and lounging area. Did I mention the staff? Great people. We parked in the nearby municipal car park for 7.5 euros overnight, 125 metres away from the hotel. Garage parking is available at the hotel for 12 euros per night but we overshot the hotel on our first pass, missing the garage entrance, leading us to discover the municipal car park.

What a little gem....a brilliant hotel in the heart of La Laguna and it's wonderful historic centre. The room was large, clean, and really comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and a 3 course meal with bread, water and coffee was €19 a head. The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace that hosts a well equipped gym and a marvellous out door pool. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful.

We arrived last minute after our original Airbnb acommodation fell through, and we are so happy it did! The receptionist who greeted us was lovely, nothing was a problem and they even provided us with a kettle, two cups and a selection of teas after my English husband lamented that he’d been without tea for two days. The room was a good size, with a huge bed with lovely bedding (although personally for me the mattress was a bit firm, but that’s a personal choice). We had a beautiful terrace which was full of greenery and felt very private, even though technically it is a shared outdoor space for several rooms along the floor. The hotel lobby is absolutely beautifully decorated in a mixture of historical features and modern touches. The location was fantastic - right in the middle of the old historical center. Bathroom was super clean, with a lovely selection of customized cosmetics (loved the mini rustic soap!) and a good sized bathtub. The hotel even has (paid) underground parking.

We love this hotel and stay every year. Location and facilities are great and staff exceptional. Rooms are very comfortable. This year we were a party of three so had 2 rooms.

Staying at La Laguna Gran Hotel was an absolute delight. The moment we walked in, we were captivated by the charm of the historic building and its elegant design. Our room was cozy, spotless, and full of character. But the real gem was the rooftop — watching the sunset over the rooftops of La Laguna was pure magic. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town, yet peaceful and calm. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel truly cared for. We only stayed one night, but it left a lasting impression. Can’t wait to come back!
